Nerrols Primary school and nursery, built in beautiful countryside on the edge of Taunton, near Cheddon Fitzpaine opened in September 2019.

We are part of the Richard Huish Trust, which sponsors a number of schools in the Taunton area and is linked to Richard Huish College – rated outstanding by Ofsted.

Huish’s vision is to provide a Good to Outstanding school, which will deliver the best possible educational outcomes. It aims to reduce the attainment gap for disadvantaged pupils and inspire pupils to reach their full potential in both academic and non-academic areas, enabling them to learn, flourish and aim high.

We are committed to providing a values based primary and nursery school at the heart of our community, striving for excellence, enabling our children to achieve their highest potential in all areas of the curriculum.
