About the School

Nerrols Primary School opened with a class of 30 reception age children, plus a mixed Year 1 and Year 2 class of 30 pupils. We continue to grow in size and will hold 420 pupils aged 4-11 when at capacity. We also have a nursery on site, open for 48 weeks a year with spaces for children aged 2-4 years.

Our school includes:

  • A library
  • Group working rooms
  • A technology room
  • Large main hall
  • Production kitchen
  • Food technology room
  • Office and meeting space
  • Playground
  • Forest school area
  • 3G (all weather) sports pitch
  • Wraparound care

Technology forms a large part of the teaching and learning experience, with every classroom having a touchscreen display and tablets for children to use to improve their learning and outcomes.

The school has been specifically designed for wider community use, both during and outside the school day. We welcome local residents and groups to contact us about their community activities.
